Delete Your Account
Request permanent deletion of your SkillTape account and associated data.
How to Request Deletion
You can request account deletion using either method below. Deletion is processed within 30 days of your request.

In-App (recommended)
Open SkillTape → Settings → Account → Delete Account. Confirm when prompted.

Email Request
Send an email to support@skilltape.app from the address associated with your account. Include the subject line "Account Deletion Request."

Confirmation
We'll send a confirmation email within 3 business days acknowledging your request and the scheduled deletion date.
What Data Is Affected
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed or retained as described.

Subscription records (transaction IDs, dates, amounts) are retained only as required for tax and legal compliance. They cannot be linked back to your identity after account deletion.
Important Notes
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your videos, annotations, and session history will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
If you have an active premium subscription, please cancel it through the App Store or Google Play before requesting deletion. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription billing.
Shared content (e.g., videos shared with a coach) will be removed from all recipients when your account is deleted.
